JosieAt 38 years old, Josie is still packing around beginner and intermediate riders. From teaching riders how to trot and canter, to doing poles, our fluffy bay quarter horse mare still does it all.
RaisabiRaisabi is a 36 year old, dark bay arabian gelding. He may be old, but Raisabi's spunky personality is apparent as he teaches beginners to trot and canter.
XanderXander is an adorable blue roan pony whose sassy attitude challenges intermediate and advanced riders. Xander came as a green pony, but after spending time in our riding program Xander is becoming a well rounded hunter pony.
MercedesMercedes is an energetic bay thoroughbred that has raced on the track, had a successful career in the show ring, and now teaches intermediate and advanced riders. His love for riding makes him an ideal school horse that builds confidence in our students.
NickyNicky is one of our schoolmasters that does everything from teaching riders to jump to winning at horse shows. He is a bay thoroughbred that was saved before being sent for slaughter, hence his show name "In The Nick of Time".
WatamuWatamu is a chestnut gelding whose complicated personality reserves him for advanced riders. Watamu's talent comes from his impressive blood lines; Margaret bred her off the track mare with an Olympic show jumper to produce Watamu's jumping abilities.
LucidoLucido, a grey warmblood, is our largest school horse at 17.2 hh. His extensive background in the large jumpers and big equitation classes at shows makes him the perfect horse to introduce intermediate and advance riders to competitions.
EmilioAnother one of our older horses, Emilio, is a large grey warmblood with an impressive background in dressage. Emilio has dedicated many years to teaching riders in our program, but now he enjoys easy bareback walks around our facilities.
EbonyEbony is a black pony that enjoys teaching beginners how to trot long sides, but also loves completing difficult courses with our intermediate and advanced riders. Her impeccable hunter form has brought home many ribbons for our young riders.
CappiCappi is an 18 year old Oldenburg gelding that is the most recent addition to the riding school. He has been adopted by Bennridge and is currently recovering from an injury in his hind legs, but his extensive show experience will benefit many riders once he is back into work.
